The CES is involved in training staff, undergraduate and graduate students on aspects related to environmental sustainability. These training programs are geared towards improving sustainability at UoPÂ and local communities. These training programs are free of charge for the campus community and conducted by the experts in the field.Â

Trainer Training Program on "Household Waste Management for Achieving Circular Economy"
Dr. Anuradha Karunarathne of Department of Agriculture Engineering, University of Peradeniya, conducted a workshop on "Household waste management for achieving circular economy" to train the volunteer undergraduate on November 19, 2022. Over 30 enthusiastic volunteers of Botanical, Zoological and Environmental Science societies of UoP, received the training.Â
