How to reduce our environmental footprint when we meet?

CES has prepared a set of environmental friendly guidelines to follow when we organize meeting and events at University of Peradeniya. The main goals of these guidelines are to;

• minimize the use of resources,
• reduce waste generation (preferably zero waste),
• conserve energy and water,
• minimize GHG emission, and
• reduce the cost,

when organizing meetings and events. You are welcome to adopt our eco guidelines to reduce the environmental footprint of the University. We can guarantee that these guidelines, won't affect the quality or the objective of your meeting/event and you will be appreciated by our future generations for being environmentally responsible.
