CES is committed to conserve the biodiversity at University of Peradeniya and beyond. We provide technical support for conservation projects and collaborate with various departments and institutes in Sri Lanka. CES believes in holistic approach to conservation of biodiversity and is involved in biodiversity conservation programs targeting conservation of native fauna and flora, threatened habitats, restoration of degraded habitats, etc., with the involvement of all the stakeholders of concern.
