The Centre for Environmental Sustainability (CES) serves as a leader for environmental sustainability at University of Peradeniya. Since its inception in 1992, CES has been involved in interdisciplinary environmental related training, consultancy, environmental management and research programs at the national, while extending any possible assistances at regional and global levels as well. The CES has been striving to become an internationally recognized center of excellence for training, consultancy, and research in environmental sustainability related disciplines with the efforts of ensuring safer and healthy environment.
